Rotating Ring Ducato Serenissimo

Rotating ring with faithful replica coin in 18kt gold of a Ducat, diameter  21mm  the famous Venetian coin that later became a zecchino and was minted by the Serenissima Republic for 500 years. The Ducat used to make this pin was minted in 1284 by the Doge Giovanni Dandolo (1280-1288); it later took the name of zecchino. On the obverse it shows the Doge kneeling before Saint Mark and on the reverse Jesus Christ inside the “mandorla” and the inscription Sit tibi Christe datus quem tu regis iste ducatus.
